Since 1994, Sunshine Accountancy and Co. has worked alongside promoters, professionals, and growing enterprises across Hyderabad and the rest of India. Our internship programme is designed to give aspiring accountants, commerce graduates, and finance students practical exposure to how a modern Indian accountancy firm actually operates.

What the Programme Offers

Interns at Sunshine Accountancy and Co. rotate through core areas of practice, spending meaningful time on each rather than being confined to a single desk. The rotation typically covers bookkeeping and accounting, GST return preparation and reconciliation, income tax computation and return filing, TDS workings and return preparation, ROC and secretarial compliance, statutory and internal audit field work, payroll processing, and client communication. The objective is to build a well rounded professional rather than a narrowly trained assistant.

Who Should Apply

We welcome applications from commerce graduates, finance students, CMA and CS students, B Com and M Com graduates, MBA finance students, and serious self starters who are committed to a career in accounting, taxation, and financial services. Prior exposure to Tally, Excel, or cloud accounting tools is helpful but not mandatory. What we look for most is sincerity, accuracy, willingness to learn, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the internship, candidates should be confident in preparing GSTR 1 and GSTR 3B, reconciling GSTR 2B with books, preparing TDS returns, drafting income tax computations for individuals and small businesses, assisting on statutory audits from planning through finalisation, handling ROC annual filings, processing payroll with PF, ESI, and PT compliance, and interacting with clients in a professional, solution oriented manner. Most interns also gain familiarity with representations before tax authorities, faceless proceedings, and notice responses.

Training is a blend of on the job exposure, structured review sessions, and direct mentoring by senior team members. Interns are encouraged to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and take ownership of files under supervision. We believe the fastest way to learn is to do real work for real clients under careful review, and that is exactly how our internship is structured.

Duration and Schedule

Internship duration is flexible and can be structured to match the requirements of your institute or articleship programme. Regular internships are typically between three months and twelve months. Short term project based internships can be discussed on a case by case basis. Working hours are aligned with our standard office schedule, with reasonable flexibility around examination periods for students.

Stipend and Certificate

A stipend is offered in line with institute norms and the nature of the assignment. At the end of the internship, each candidate receives a formal internship completion certificate detailing the areas covered and the work performed. Strong performers are often considered for full time positions within the firm.
